This was my second experience with Mr. Sakoda. The experience led me to start learning the shamisen in Osaka as well. I learned a lot from his answers to my questions about the Amami shamisen. I learned a lot of questions about the Amami shamisen and it gave me the strength to continue to play it. My wife's parents live in Nase, so I am sure I will have the opportunity to visit there again. I am sure I will have the opportunity to visit again.

I have roots on the island and have been returning to the island every year, but last year I had my first experience with the Amami shamisen and fell in love with the instrument. I have enjoyed learning shimauta because I can learn them with great care. I would like to return again when I come back to the island.
